AW2021 SANCTUARY
Autumn Winter 2021 'Sanctuary' reveals a tough eloquence that is at once expressive while beautifully defined. Embroiled in difficult times, Sanctuary symbolises refuge. A safe haven and a place to love and be loved. Two symbolic prints communicate the entanglement between life and death, represented by colours black and green with life narrated through the graduation from delicate florals to beautiful strong perennials bold in their occupation of space.
Nods of sophisticated modernity filter effortlessly throughout a carefully curated silhouette assemblage. Fabricated in familiarity with clever linen mixes, chambrays and Salasai's printed staples, 'Sanctuary's' drama comes from the vegan leather pieces, heavy lace and floor reaching styles. Merino styles in classic Salasai intrigue feature the iconic broken heart from 2007, a reference to looking back sometimes in order to move forward.
