Collection: AW2025 KNITWEAR

The AW2025 Knitwear collection at Salasai came together pretty slowly and honestly. Most of it started with us testing yarns, feeling textures, and trying early samples to see what actually felt good in real life. Winter clothing gets worn a lot, so we wanted pieces that feel calm, warm and dependable. Nothing is perfect. Just knitwear you naturally reach for when the temperature drops. 

While putting the collection together, we kept talking about the small moments of the colder months. The jacket you keep by the door, the sweater you put on first thing in the morning, the knit you end up taking everywhere because it just works. That idea shaped most of the silhouettes. They are relaxed but not baggy, simple, but not plain. Every piece sits comfortably without needing much adjustment or styling. 

The colours for the season came from things around us during winter. Old photos, worn wool coats, a few moody shades we kept coming back to. We also added softer tones that felt comfortable. The patterns were mostly small experiments done by hand, adjusted a few times until they felt like something you could wear often.
