Salasai Spring Summer 2020 “Painted Ceremony” is an affair of contradicting elements, personifying a woman full of complexities, vibrancy and electric fascination. The collection is a celebration of creativity and contrast — stitching together unexpected layers to form something deeply expressive. This line brings together graphic prints, patchwork detail, and textured fabrics in a way that feels both deliberate and playful. 

Clashing prints authorise this notion of rebellion. One seemingly sweet floral depiction yet reveals an uneasy tone and a raw wreckage to the electric florals. The other patchwork of texture, colour, text and pattern – elevation and beautification of post punk angst. 

 Muted pinks and retro brown devise a palette highlighted by the Electric Rose and Patched print. Oversized linen shirts, Cupro two-piece suits, and elongated detailed dresses accentuate the trademark Salasai method. Textured by lace, sunray pleats, raw hems and the visual texture of the patchwork print, this Spring Summer 2020 is a celebration of unification.
