1. Favourite thing about your job? I think it's pretty special that a local fashion label like Salasai is willing to invest in creating a one off print, exclusive to them. It gives their collections an authenticity that some other brands lack. The design brief is always something exciting that I can really run with. It's a collaborative process and I love that when we start designing a print I never know exactly how it's going to turn out. We create something that you can't get anywhere else and I'm very proud of that.
2. Best place to eat in Perth? Bread in Common in Fremantle. A must is their own bread baked on site with house churned butter, it's amazing! Perfect setting for a relaxed lunch with a sneaky glass of wine in a beautiful stripped back warehouse.
3. What song is on repeat right now? Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta
4. Favourite garment from the AW15 Salasai range? The Liberal Dress in Bones Print. Its feminine , grungy and effortless all in one. And the simplicity of the cut offsets the rambling visuals of the print perfectly.
